Welcome to Zion, a ride-hailing service operated as a sole proprietorship by Mohith Prathipati ("Zion," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Zion mobile application, website, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Use of Services
- Zion connects riders with drivers for transportation services.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
- Zion reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if terms are violated.
2. User Accounts
- Riders and drivers must register using a valid mobile number and/or email.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
3. Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Razorpay or other approved payment gateways.
- Fares are calculated based on trip details (distance, time, location).
- Drivers may receive payments directly to their linked bank accounts.
- By booking a ride, you authorize Zion to process the applicable fare.
4. Driver Responsibilities
- Drivers must hold a valid driving license and provide correct vehicle information.
- Drivers must comply with traffic laws and ensure rider safety.
- Zion is not responsible for disputes between riders and drivers but may mediate if required.
5. Rider Responsibilities
- Riders must provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.
- Riders must treat drivers and vehicles respectfully.
- Cancellation fees may apply for last-minute cancellations.
6. Limitations of Liability
- Zion is a technology platform connecting riders and drivers.
- We do not own vehicles or employ drivers — drivers act as independent contractors.
- Zion is not liable for delays, accidents, personal injuries, or lost items during rides.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Using Zion for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Harassing, harming, or exploiting drivers or riders.
- Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Services.
8. Data & Privacy
Your personal data is handled as per our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices.
9. Termination
- Zion may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates are effective immediately when posted.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Cancellations & Refunds
At Zion, we strive to provide our riders with a seamless and affordable travel experience. We understand that plans may change, so here's how our policy works:
Ride Cancellations (Riders)
- Riders may cancel a ride at any time before the driver has arrived at the pickup location.
- In certain cases, a nominal cancellation fee may apply to compensate the driver.
- Cancelling within 2 minutes of booking incurs no fee.
Ride Cancellations (Drivers)
- Drivers are expected to honor accepted trips. Frequent cancellations may result in warnings, penalties, or suspension.
- If a driver cancels, riders are not charged any cancellation fee.
Refunds
- If a ride is not completed due to driver cancellation, technical issues, or other valid reasons, any advance payment is refunded to your original payment method.
- Refunds typically process within 5–7 business days.
- No refunds are issued once a ride has been completed.
Disputes
In case of disputes related to fares, cancellations, or payments, riders may raise a ticket via Help & Support in the app. Each case is reviewed by our team, with refunds provided where applicable.
